Kindergarten!!!!

Today was Keldon's FIRST DAY OF KINDERGARTEN!!! I cannot believe how old he is! He has been taking Kindergarden prep class for the summer for 2 hours a day, but this was his first full day.

Keldon is doing his homework in this picture. He is so smart! He is already writing in cursive and can spell 30 three letter words. I am so grateful for this school and that he is learning so much!

His desk is in the very front row! I think this is so funny. I asked him this morning if he would rather sit in the back. His response was "No Mom. I love sitting in the front." We are so opposite in the matter! I'm very lucky to have such an amazing son! I love him so much, and I love watching him grow up... even though its so fast!

Utah Lake

A couple weeks ago Keldon and I were invited to go out on Utah Lake with my good friend, Kaylie, and her family! Keldon and I had never been boating together, so we were so excited to go!

I tried to wake board....and fell a lot! But I still loved it! I cant wait until we get to go again!

Keldon went tubing! He had so much fun! He has been one time before with his Grandpa Craig. He was so funny! He kept making the sign to go faster! He is such an adventurous little guy!

He went out on the water with Melissa, Kaylie's sister.

We all jumped in the water and played around a lot! It was so hard to get Keldon back in the boat!

Our Trip To Boise

In July Keldon and I went to Boise for my 10 year high school reunion. I know....10 years!! I feel so old. It was fun to see some old friends. We went out dancing and had a blast! We mostly spent time with Jessica and her kids. One day we went tubing down the Boise River! It was not the warmest day, but the kids loved it!

Keldon loved being on he raft! He would even hang off the edge and float in the water.

Keldon Riding His Bike!!

Here is a video of Keldon learning how to ride his bike! I am so excited for him! Our friend, Ryan, that lives by us taught him how. He did so well! I was a little worried, but he really caught on! I cant believe how big he his!

Bridal Veil Falls Hike

There is a little waterfall just right up the Provo Canyon that I love to hike up in the summer. I decided that I would take Keldon up there and see if he would enjoy it as much as I do. This is him at the very bottom! He was so excited to hike up! I warned him before that we would get our feet wet and it would be cold. He said he would be okay with that...so I went for it and hoped for the best!

He was ahead of me the whole time! He would not stop for anything! Even when we got to the top of the waterfall, he had to go behind it and touch the rock wall! His very last step he fell and cut his hand on a rock, but took it very well!

This is him at the very top looking down. He had so much fun! I am so proud of him that he made it all the way to the top! I was also impressed, I didn't really know what to expect from him. Now, I think we are going to try some more hikes and see how he does! I love to be outdoors, so I am so happy that he enjoys it as much as I do so we have something special we can share together!

The Big 28!

A couple weeks ago I had my 28th Birthday! It was a little strange to think that I was almost 30! But the weekend ended up being pretty good. I spent time with my best friends. Friday night I went out with the girls, Saturday I went out with "the group" and Sunday, Keldon and I spent the day with Joe and Missy. Even though I feel like Im getting so old....I still enjoyed being with the people I love most!
