Bridal Veil Falls Hike

There is a little waterfall just right up the Provo Canyon that I love to hike up in the summer. I decided that I would take Keldon up there and see if he would enjoy it as much as I do. This is him at the very bottom! He was so excited to hike up! I warned him before that we would get our feet wet and it would be cold. He said he would be okay with that...so I went for it and hoped for the best!

He was ahead of me the whole time! He would not stop for anything! Even when we got to the top of the waterfall, he had to go behind it and touch the rock wall! His very last step he fell and cut his hand on a rock, but took it very well!

This is him at the very top looking down. He had so much fun! I am so proud of him that he made it all the way to the top! I was also impressed, I didn't really know what to expect from him. Now, I think we are going to try some more hikes and see how he does! I love to be outdoors, so I am so happy that he enjoys it as much as I do so we have something special we can share together!

Here we are at the very top! He was getting annoyed with me holding his hand the whole time! He just wanted to be independent!

The Big 28!

A couple weeks ago I had my 28th Birthday! It was a little strange to think that I was almost 30! But the weekend ended up being pretty good. I spent time with my best friends. Friday night I went out with the girls, Saturday I went out with "the group" and Sunday, Keldon and I spent the day with Joe and Missy. Even though I feel like Im getting so old....I still enjoyed being with the people I love most!

The group! Brad had to work that night, so we all went to Chili's so he could be our server and not be left out!
They bought me a High School Musical Cake! They know me so well!

Girls Night Scavenger Hunt!

Once a month a group of girls get together and have a girls night. It was my month to host. I decided to do something a little different and planned a scavenger hunt. It was so much fun! I can not remember the last time I laughed so hard. We split into 2 groups and tried to finish all 30 tasks. Mindy and Carly were in my group. We had to do things like wash someones car windows at a gas station, play dance dance revolution, and serenade a stranger. When we got back to my house we watched the videos and looked at all the pictures together! It was so fun to hear about the other groups experience too!

Carly, Mindy and I. This was our train down the slide. It had just started raining so we all got wet! Mindy actually had to go home and change!
This is Carly getting some guys number...for me...which I dont think I will use. But Carly and Mindy did love embarrassing me in front of him! I turned bright red when he asked who it was for and they both said me. My response was it was for the scavenger hunt!
Some random guy came up and wanted to be in the picture so Mindy just high fived him to finish another task! Lol.
I think this is one of my favorite pictures! They were to mimic a statue. Mindy could not stop laughing and Carly held onto her model face!

These videos are of us doing the chicken dance, the human wheel barrel, and a race between Mindy and Carly. It was so funny to see prego Carly running in the mall just booking it! It was an awesome night! I just love all these girls!

Keldons Hair Cut

So after weeks of Keldon begging me to cut his hair, I finally gave in! I loved his long hair! I thought he looked so cute! But, it was starting to bother him and he was not happy with it. He would wake up everyday and ask me if would could get his hair cut! Poor kid!

Right before the hair cut.
He was so excited the whole time that he could not stop smiling! It was like his birthday and Christmas all rolled into one!

The final product!
The next morning before school. He was so excited to show his teachers and friends! What a cute little model!
I do like his hair when its long, but I must say, he looks good either way!
